I am a stay-at-home mother of 3 kids under the age of 3 1/2 years. Yes, one was a pleasant surprise that rocked our world this past year. Needless to say, I am one tired mommy. I have been looking at life through eyes full of sleep and blur for going on 4 years now. The world looks a little different through these mom eyes than the eyes I had before children.
I live in West Michigan, have MANY, MANY interests/hobbies, love alpacas, hate olives, and am always thinking about what to do or explore next. I currently am trying create an environmentally friendly house without becoming unfriendly to my budget and things kids typically enjoy. I have a strange connection to Neil Diamond.
This blog is my attempt to make sense of what the world looks like after one becomes a mom. It also is a way for me to provide friends, family, and others with tidbits of info and rambling. Some of it personal (crazy thoughts and ideas) and some of it helpful (organic and green initiative info etc.).
Thanks for stopping by!

I have really enjoyed all of your posts. I found this blog about 4 or so days ago and think it is great. I’ve sent your link to some of my friends, so hopefully they’ll come by and traffic your site as well.

You certainly are a busy mom! My sister also has 3 boys under 3 years old. Some people think she’s crazy, but she knows that in a few years, all her kids will be out of diapers and pretty independent!
Just wanted to say hello… came here through The Diaper Diaries!

I love your blog, and I had to write and tell you so! I also wanted to tell you about a book I found which may be quite valuable to you as a mom. I have made a commitment to create a healthy and green environment for my daughter, and I would imagine it’s something that’s important to you as well. The book Healthy Baby Happy Home found at http://www.healthybabyhappyhome.com/ has changed my outlook and our life! The parents that wrote this book provide real life insight about what it takes to remove potential pollutants from your home, and how to live a cleaner and healthier life in general. This is so important as I work to provide the best life for my little girl, and I thought you might be interested as a mom too. I hope you enjoy and learn from it as much as I have!
